Since this is MY page, I get to talk about whatever I want and no one will hear/see it. Hopefully someone will but anyways, I'm gonna do my page on music!

Cibo Matto

Yah, who's cibo matto? First off, Cibo Matto is italian for food madness. I don't know why they picked that for their name but it sounds pretty cool in my most awesome opinion. Now Cibo Matto (Chee-bo Mott-o) is a band that was started by Miho Hatori and Yuka Honda. They later gained Sean Lennon (John's son), Timo Ellis, Duma Love, and others I have forgotten. Cibo Matto is my favorite band. They cannot be constrained to a genre. Apparently, both of their albums were in People's Top Ten Hip Hop Albums of the years that they were released. I've heard them described as Trip Hop. Their albums, Viva! La Women and Stereo*Type A, defy any classification. They have Hip Hop, Big Band, Jazz, and Rock. I love Cibo Matto with a red hot passion. My favorite songs of theirs are Birthday Cake, Speechless, and Lint of Love.

Garbage

I really like Garbage. I can't place my finger on it. They have some intangible quality that I like. Sure their music is a little bit of a downer, but they have some great musicians in that band. How can we forget the lead singer, Shirley Manson. She is a great singer. Oh man! MY favorite songs of theirs are As Heaven is Wide and Push It.

Anthrax

"HARDCORE!" -Cameron

Anthrax is another amazing band. Normally I don't like really loud music, but Anthrax is loud but they also rule. I learned of their existence from WWF. The awesome theme song for Raw Is War was by them. Actually, it was just the guitarist but the guitarring in the song was awesome. They are considered the innovators of speed metal along with Metallica. (Metallica is no one where near as good in my opinion.) They have some of the best guitars in the business. Awhile back they even did a song and toured with Public Enemy. They were crossover before the horrible Limp Bizkit. The difference was that Anthrax actually has musical talent. They also did some very funny (albeit dirty) songs like I'm The Man and Bringin' up a Posse. My favorite songs of theirs are Crush and P&V and of course Cupajoe.

The Pharcyde

I just started listening to The Pharcyde and I'm nothing short of impressed. They have some of the best singers or rappers or emcees or whatever you call 'em. They have some great musical-type accompaniment. They are very jazz influenced. They write some amazing lyrics as well. I first heard them on the Half Baked Soundtrack. They did a really good song called Pack The Pipe. Yes, it was about drugs but despite that it was still a very catchy type song. I downloaded a couple of their songs to see if they didn't write just one good song. Let me tell you, brother (sorry), they've written many great/excellent songs. One problem for me is that they have the Parental Advisory, but they are just too good. My favorite songs of theirs are Passin' Me By and Drop.
